Overview
Eg Cä Gål was founded durring the late 15th century in winter of the year 1390, by Glëil Ÿwesshod. The establishment of Eg Cä Gål was somewhat plagued by a lack of willing colonists, leading to Glëil Ÿwesshod electing to pay people to resettle in Eg Cä Gål.
Eg Cä Gål was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the late 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Eg Cä Gål is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature timber framed wooden shiethed or brick construction, which gives form to a very formalized, rational, expence effishent arcatectural style based on strictly symmetrical designs which universaly feature pitched roofs, shutters, and the occasional column or pilaster for a decorative touch.
Eg Cä Gål is buildings are speckled and packed arround crampt paverstone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town emploies a series of defencive earthworks, spikes, and fences to provide some protection against wild beasts and smaller groups of intelegent foes. Eg Cä Gål's minimaly adiquite has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.
A look around Eg Cä Gål gives you a feeling of distrust and paranoia. Also greed. The locals seem to be very much into scholastic pursuits, based on the hushed, murmured conversations you hear at least. Everyone in Eg Cä Gål acts like they have discovered something wondrous, and are worried they will endure some horrible fate so another can take what they’ve discovered for themselves.

Eg Cä Gål has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Eg Cä Gål's natural decorations nor waterways.
Eg Cä Gål has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Eg Cä Gål is home to a distinct subculture, who are either the majority here or have the dominant positions in the community. Architecture, local laws, and social customs are all tuned to suit them, and they may not be particularly forgiving or friendly to the major culture of the region. Communities that are not outright independent usually make an arm's-length submission to a local lord.
Eg Cä Gål's mayor's house was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. History
In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Eg Cä Gål was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Eg Cä Gål lost 152 people, 214 livestock, and 61 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 42, when members of Eg Cä Gål's militia enacted an operation to secure a particular vault to utilize it for a specific task. The operation was complicated by a trusted officer who turned traitor and defects. The conflict ended with the defense of the vault against a siege, which ended in defeat for Eg Cä Gål's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Eg Cä Gål's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
